Sara Grisanti is a forty year resident of Malibu whose family has had beach homes in
Malibu for over 60 years. Born in Santa Monica and educated locally she has strong local connections within the Westside communities. Her years of volunteer work with
the local PTAs, the National Charity League, and 4 years as a Docent at Malibu’s Getty Museum have strengthened these connections while building a broad based knowledge of the community that her clients find indispensable.
After growing up in a real estate family she began remodeling homes with her mother in 1976. Sara obtained her real estate license in 1987. She worked for the Fred Sands Company for a year and a half. During this time she met and married Paul Grisanti. In 1988 she came to work at the Jon Douglas Company in partnership with her husband. In 1991 she earned her Brokers License. Her organizational talents have had a synergistic effect on both their productivity with a commensurate rise in client satisfaction. Although Sara works in all areas of the real estate market she specializes in high-end properties. In 1989 she represented the Buyer in the largest single sale of an estate site in Malibu, which was 7 acres of vacant beachfront property on Pacific Coast Hwy selling for $8,000,000. Sara obtained her Real Estate Brokers license in 1999. In 2005 She and Paul sold the 24-acre, four parcel subdivision on Winter Mesa, listed for $25,000,000 representing both Buyer and Seller.
Sara served on the Board of Directors of the Malibu Association of Realtors from 1992 to 1998. She was President of that Association in 1996 and served as the Malibu representative on the board of directors of the Combined Los Angeles, Westside Multiple Listings Service from 1993 to 1996. Sara was State Director of the California Association of Realtors for three years . In 1998 Sara was named as a Dolphin Award Winner, Citizen of the Year by the Malibu Times.
The Malibu Association of Realtors for 1993 elected Sara the “Malibu Realtor of the Year”. During her time with JonDouglas/Coldwell Banker Sara was recognized as a member of the Chairman’s Circle, the top 2% of Sales Associates, From 1996 through 2018, part of the Coldwell Banker’s Presidents Elite. In 2018 Sara and Paul moved to Pinnacle Estate Properties Inc. where they continue to represent Significant homes for a knowledgeable clientele.
